Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono opened the Sport and Art Week (Porseni) of Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) 2024 at GBK Arena, Senayan, Central Jakarta.

Accompanied by Regional Secretary Agus Setyono and their ranks, Heru symbolically launched the event by signing a basket ball and appreciating the BUMD Development Board for implementing this program.

"This activity reflects the importance of maintaining a balance between work productivity and quality of life . We can maintain physical health, build a strong mentality based on discipline, and sportsmanship through sport. While through art, we are able to express creativity and potential as part of self-actualization," Heru said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Saturday (10/12).

This year BUMD's Porseni is participated by 18 Jakarta BUMDs to compete in various sport and art.

"This theme is in line with our shared efforts in providing the best service to the community and supporting the development of Jakarta as a sustainable Global City. Good luck to all participants. Show your best spirit and ability with sportsmanship. Victory is indeed a source of pride, but building cooperation and harmony is an important essence," Heru added.

Meanwhile, PT Bank DKI Director, Agus Haryoto Widodo who is also Head Committee of Porseni BUMD 2024, said that sports to be competed are basketball, table tennis, and badminton. His side also invite Jakarta Entrepreneur's SME to enliven the event.

"We also invite Jakarta Entrepreneur's SME to make them agent of economy in Jakarta. We understand that Jakarta wants a level with other global cities. One of the indicators is making SME as economy agent," he said.
